e-Vision develops new church website in the “nick of time” for new year!

January 1, 2012-First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park employed e-Vision to develop a new website within 10 days that will make have easier navigation, calendar of events, live broadcast integration and links to social media accounts.

“We are hoping the congregation will use our website as a resource,” said Bertraim Thomas, church administrator. “We have a new more streamline approach for users accessing our website, as well as sections for the J. Lee Foster School , Sunday school program videos and our church services.”

“First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park is the first church website developed by e-Vision development team, Inspired.  We’ve worked very hard to find a solution that is drop dead simple, jaw dropping simple in fact.  And I think we’ve achieved that.” said Eric Whiteside Project Manager.  “We were extremely excited that First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park was willing to be the first church to select our new cost-effective solution.  Having worked with them in the past, they were always great and we knew they would really “get it.”  Next up will be the new website specifically for the wedding chapel that will promote members of the community to use the facility for weddings and special events. We are also planning to launch a new app that integrates directly with the church main website.  The sites are also platform responsive.  That means no matter what you use to browse the site with, a traditional browser, iPad or other tablet, or a smartphone the format of the site adjusts and changes to work specifically for that device.  It really helps to futureproof and create a long lasting and extensible site.” added Brandon McDowell, App Development Team.

The church also recently delved into the world of social media. “More and more of the community is using technology as a resource. We want to be where our congregation is in order to fulfill their needs,” said Pastor Dr. Gregory Foster. Join us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park is encouraging members and their families to ‘like’ the Facebook page and ‘follow’ the Twitter account.

“We would love to have our congregation more involved in the life of the church as well as the lives of the community. We are hoping the new website ; Facebook and Twitter accounts will help us do just that,” said Bertraim Thomas.
